Eschbach family

There are several stories of the origins of the Eschbach family name, however we do not have a single conclusive story. The name can be tracked to an area in Southern Germany sandwiched between the Rhine and Black Forrest. One story goes a worrier proved themselves for galantry and bravery and awarded that area.

Regardless of origin the origin of the name there are serveral major branches. As we have spread throughout the world the spellings have changed slightly. Including adding an A for those in the Netherlands.
